Non metro-Atlanta residents: The mission of Capitol City Opera is to provide opportunities for singers living in the greater metro-Atlanta area. We do occasionally feature singers from other areas in the southeast, but we do not provide a housing or transportation stipend.

These are general auditions are to cast for CCOC’s upcoming events including main stage productions, touring education shows, monthly Dinner and a Diva performances, and our Summer On The Light Side annual fundraiser as well as for our sister company, Atlanta Concert Opera.
For this audition, singers should present two arias, one in a foreign language, and one in English. One selection may be Golden Age musical theatre or art song. An accompanist will be provided or singers may bring their own accompanist if preferred. Please bring a copy of your resume, headshot, and repertoire list to the audition.
Singers should also note that casting for Capitol City Opera productions will require that they be available for workshops and for extensive rehearsals. Singers with other obligations during the same time period should note them on the registration form. Participation in other organizations does not preclude you from participating in CCOC productions, but availability for rehearsals will be a consideration when casting.
