This year Capitol City Opera Company will celebrate the great musical duo Gilbert and Sullivan at On the Light Side: Summer at the Savoy. Join us as we sing and dance our way through The Pirates of Penzance, The Gondoliers, H.M.S. Pinafore, The Grand Duke, and more performed by some of Atlanta’s best singers. Singers will be accompanied by Music Director Catherine Giel.
Friday, July 21 & Saturday, July 22 at 8:00 pm at Morningside Presbyterian Church
This “indoor picnic” fundraiser is one of the CCOC’s most popular event and includes a silent auction and a great evening of food, music, friends, and fun – in the casual, air-conditioned indoors. Bring your own picnic and beverages to enjoy during the performance and decorate your table in the theme for the chance to win a prize!
There will also be a silent auction with hundreds of items from art, jewelry, wine, housewares, event tickets, and even a Tuscan vacation.
Doors open at 7:00 pm for the indoor picnic and silent auction, with the performance to follow.
Individual tickets are $45. Tables of eight (8) are $350.
